What kinds of filters does KittySpring use?
There is a built-in stainless steel filter in the center of the dish, which ensures that the fur and other impurities never block the hole under the simulation stone from where the water flows into the dish. This filter doesn’t need to be replaced. Also, note that the fountain comes with an installed filter so please DO NOT disassemble it to avoid loosening.

How often should I clean the water dish and filter?
To maintain your cat’s hygiene and health, it is recommended to clean the water dish every 2 days. This works out perfectly in time when you need to refill the bottle with fresh water. As to the filter, rinse it under tap water along with the water dish without disassembling.

Do cats need to push the button for drinking?
There is no need for your cat to do anything but drink! The pink spot on the dish is not a button but a simulation stone to add a natural touch to the fountain. But besides serving as a design element, it also functions as a place from where the gravity-driven water fills the dish after flowing from the bottle. Besides, it keeps the dish fixed on the base. Nevertheless, if your cat touches or plays with the stone, nothing will happen.

Can I use both the glass and the regular dish one on the same base?
No, the new glass dish cannot be used on the base designed for the regular dish as they are produced using different molds. Therefore, if you have ordered the Regular Version but prefer a glass dish for your cat, you can’t buy a separate glass dish. What you can do is choose between 2 different rewards: the Regular Version of the KittySpring or the Glass Version.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
